Bicuar National Park, officially established in 1964, spans an impressive 790,000 hectares in Angola's southern Huila province. Initially a game reserve since 1938, the park features diverse landscapes ranging from the riverbanks of the Cunene River to sandy hills and savannah grasslands. It is home to a variety of plant species, including bushveld, shrub thickets, and open miombo woodlands. Wildlife enthusiasts can expect to encounter animals such as cheetahs, kudus, steenboks, reedbucks, elands, buffaloes, and leopards.
