Assinie-Mafia is a coastal resort town in southeastern Côte d'Ivoire, situated 80 kilometers east of Abidjan along the Gulf of Guinea. Accessible via the A100 and B-107 roads, the town stretches along a narrow coastal strip bordering the Aby Lagoon, ending at La Passe, a popular spot known for its high-rise resort and local traditions. The area features a peninsula lined with luxury villas and huts, reachable by car or boat. Assinie-Mafia gained international recognition as the filming location for the 1978 comedy French Fried Vacation (Les Bronzés).
