Yeji is a town located in the Bono East Region of Ghana, serving as the capital of the Pru East District. Situated adjacent to Lake Volta, Yeji is well-connected by highway to nearby towns such as Ejura and Kwadjokrom. Yeji is the homeland of a branch of the Chumburu people, whose traditional area extends across Lake Volta to the Chumburung kingdom. The town's residents speak a distinct Yeji dialect of the Chumburung language, alongside other indigenous groups such as the Konkombas and Gonjas.
