Robertsport, located on the Cape Mount Peninsula in western Liberia, is about 80 kilometers northwest of Monrovia and near the Sierra Leone border. As the capital of Grand Cape Mount County, it sits between Lake Piso and the Atlantic Ocean. The town is known for its surf-friendly coastline, with well-regarded breaks such as Fisherman's Point, Cotton Trees, and Cassava Point attracting surfers. Named after Liberia's first president, Joseph Jenkins Roberts, Robertsport also has a mix of fishing communities and coastal villages, offering a blend of local culture and maritime activities.
