Suncoast Casino, Hotels, and Entertainment stands as a monumental complex at the northern terminus of Durban's illustrious Golden Mile, adjacent to the Kings Park Sporting Precinct. This multifaceted oasis not only hosts South Africa's largest casino but also a collection of eateries, a beach bar, cinemas, and its semi-private beach—lauded as one of South Africa's top three shores. Its architectural design pays homage to Durban's significant art deco legacy. Besides serving as a recreational nexus for cyclists, Suncoast marks pivotal points for renowned cycling races and the exclusive location for the A1 Grand Prix of Nations' only street race. Owned by Tsogo Sun, this entertainment haven offers a diverse experience with facilities that cater to both smokers and non-smokers, encapsulating a blend of leisure, culture, and exhilarating entertainment.

Centrally located and on the beach front, lots of activities for kids and entertainment for adults, hotel room is just the right size for a couple, a bit noisy but not too bad, casino is convenient to get to and is nice.

5km walk was fantastic. Mugg and Bean's butternut soup was amazing. Missed the candied apple advertised on the menu but missing from the dish. Would've tasted great with the pork sprinkle. The mint/apple/melon bottomless soda was delightful. A new favourite.
