I was born in 1989 in a small village near Gich, in the Simien Mountains National Park, and grew up surrounded by Ethiopia’s breathtaking landscapes. At age 12, I moved to Debark, near the park headquarters, where I completed my high school education. Inspired by the mountains and Ethiopia’s rich history, I pursued a career as a professional mountain guide. Over the years, I have undergone extensive training in: Birds, mammals, and plants of the Simien Mountains Trekking and mountaineering arrangements Ethiopian history and cultural heritage First aid and customer care Guiding techniques and sustainable tourism Today, I lead Ethio Nomad Tours, combining my expertise with a team of passionate local guides to create safe, immersive, and unforgettable Ethiopian journeys.
