A 40% deposit is required to confirm bookings made more than 120 days prior to arrival. The balance is payable 90 days before arrival. Bookings made within 90 days of arrival require full payment at confirmation. All amounts are nett. Any applicable bank or transfer charges are the responsibility of the client.

All cancellations must be made in writing by email. Where a cancellation charge is shown as a percentage, this refers to the percentage of the total invoice amount. Cancellation charges: 90–45 days prior to arrival 25%, 46–29 days prior to arrival 50%, 30 days or less prior to arrival 100%

No refunds will be made for unused services, late arrivals, early departures, or services not utilized. Non-recoverable costs already paid to suppliers remain payable.

Suggested tipping amounts are as follows: safari guides typically receive US$10–20 per guest per day, while camp and lodge staff may be tipped US$5–15 per guest per day through the tip box. Transfer drivers generally receive US$2–10 per transfer. For gorilla trekking, a US$5–15 tip for the porter is suggested, while rangers and trackers may receive US$5–20.

Due to the potential disruption of the tour and other guests we regret that we do not accept reservations for children under the age of 2 years, on any tour type. The minimum age for Long Distance Tours is 8 years old.

A single supplement is available upon request.

The onus is upon the client to ensure that passports, visas and inoculations are valid for the countries listed. The company, its staff and agents cannot be held liable for any visas etc. not held by the clients.
