Thaoge Safaris

Thaoge Safaris is a tourism company whose main focuses are Mobile Safari, Boat Cruise, Mokoro Cruise and transportation of clients from one place of interest to another (commonly known as Transfers); this includes cross boarder transportation. It is based in Maun, Botswana. Maun is popularly known as the gateway to the Okavango Delta as it is located at the end of the Jao – Boro channel of the Delta. It was formerly called Thaoge Pollers Safaris whose mandate was to operate Mokoro Excursions in the Chobe River along Ngoma/Muchenje area. It operated for a year, from January 2017 to December 2017. It stopped its operations due to low water level in the Chobe River. The company has been rebranded and named Thaoge Safaris. It is named after one of the three main channels of the Okavango Delta, Thaoge channel, which is in the western side of the delta. The other two channels are Ngoga – Maunachira – Khwai and Jao – Boro. Our mobile safari covers Moremi Game Reserve, Chobe National Park, Makgadikgadi Pan National Park, Nxai Pan Game Reserve, Central Kalahari Game Reserve, Tsodilo Hills and Gchihaba Caves. We do cross boarder transfers to Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe and Zambia. Walking safaris are offered in Okavango Delta and Chobe bushes. Mokoro and Boat cruises are available in Thamalakane River, Okavango Delta and Chobe River.
