Tour and Travel Morocco

I experienced an incredible 3 day/2 night tour to Merzouga as part of a group. From start to finish we were so well looked after. We stayed at an auberge the first night and camped at a luxury desert camp the next. Some of the most special parts of the tour were the simple ones: watching the most awe-inspiring sunsets; singing and dancing around the campfire; a thrilling 4x4 drive to visit a traditional Amazigh camp; and sandboarding. Highly recommended—you’ll make special friends along the way and experience the true Morocco, full of hospitality and warm welcomes.

I wasn't able to complete a tour with Tour and Travel Morocco, but I did have a very positive experience with them. I had booked a three-day desert camping tour from Marrakech to Fes with another company, but it was cancelled the day before it departed due to snow in the mountains. The other tour operator never responded to my Viator or WhatsApp messages and never provided an explanation for the cancellation. I was informed via a Viator email of the cancellation. Trying to salvage the trip, and not knowing about the snow in the Atlas mountains that blocked the road because of the lack of communication from the other tour operator, I frantically looked for a replacement operator for a similar tour. It was past 22:00 that night when I found Tour and Travel Morocco, and this was the night of the Africa Cup of Nations final match between Morocco and Senegal. Needless to say, this was a busy night for a Moroccan tour operator. When I reached out via WhatsApp, Morad from Tour and Travel Morocco called me right away and very quickly assisted with checking for tour options. He confirmed that the public tours through Tour and Travel Morocco had been cancelled, but did some further checking throughout the night to see if he could find a private driver to complete the same tour. He did find one, and we started on our tour the next morning. Unfortunately, when we arrived at the base of the Atlas Mountains, Moroccan police had the road blocked off and were turning cars away due to the snow in the mountain pass. I notified Morad, and he affirmed that when they had checked, the roads were still open to private vehicles. He was very apologetic, and our driver dropped us off back in Marrakech at no charge. Morad refunded the entire amount we paid for the tour the same day. Even though we didn't complete a tour with Tour and Travel Morocco, I can affirm that they are an excellent company to work with and provide fast and professional customer service. I will definitely look them up next time we're in Morocco.

If you plan to a trip to Morocco, I highly recommend Said as your guide. His expertise and attention to detail made my trip truly extraordinary. Traveling to Morocco was a dream of mine, since college, and in my 40s I was finally able to to pull it off. Our guide made sure our adventure was unforgetable. He took us to stunning historic and cultural sites and several hidden gems off the beath path. Said is knowledgable and professional. He balnaced adventure with comfort, making sure the journey met my preferences. Some of my favotire experiecences where shopping in the small local markets and eating at family owned restaurants as we traveled between cities. Waking up at twilingt in the middle of the Sahara was magical!

Said was our driver/guide during our week in Morocco. He was terrific. Very considerate. We enjoyed our time with him. If we ever go back we will definitely ask for him again. He's now a friend

We travelled for 5 days from Marrakech to Merzouga with Said as guide, and it was an amazing experience from start to finish. Saïd is a very professional, punctual, passionate and always attentive guide. He made our stay both rewarding, friendly and perfectly organized. Thanks to him, we discovered beautiful places and learned about Moroccan culture. We felt safe and well accompanied throughout the trip. We recommend Said without hesitation to all those who want to live a real adventure in Morocco!
