A 40% deposit is required within 7 days of booking confirmation. The remaining 60% balance is due 30 days before the 1st service start date.

Upon your confirmation of the booking, any subsequent cancellation will incur fee charges assessed against the total itinerary cost based on the following schedule:

50% Fee: Applied for cancellations made 34 days prior to the first service.

75% Fee: Applied for cancellations made 14 days prior to the first service.

100% Fee: Applied for cancellations made 7 days or fewer prior to the first service.

Tipping is a customary gesture of appreciation for exceptional service throughout your journey. We recommend budgeting US $15.00 per person, per day for your main safari driver-guide. For lodge and camp staff, general tip boxes are available at reception, where US $5.00 to $10.00 is standard to cover back-of-house teams. Children aged 2 to 11 sharing a room with two full-paying adults receive discounted rates, typically 50% to 75% of the adult price depending on the property. Children occupying their own room are charged standard adult or single rates. Minimum age limits apply for specific activities, including gorilla trekking (minimum 15 years) and walking safaris (typically minimum 12 to 16 years). Children under 2 years generally travel free, though nominal transport or sanctuary fees may apply.

Safari package pricing is based on double occupancy. Single travelers occupying a private room or tent incur a single supplement charge to cover fixed accommodation and transfer costs. During low or green seasons, select partner lodges may waive this fee. For group bookings requesting individual rooms, the supplement applies strictly to those single units. Exact rates vary by property and season, typically ranging between 20% and 50% above the per-person sharing rate.

Check-In / Check-Out: Standard check-in is from 14:00; check-out is before 11:00.

Game Reserves: Fully inclusive packages cover check-in before lunch, check-out after breakfast, three daily meals (Lunch, Dinner, Breakfast), and two game activities per day.
