3 Day Gorilla, Chimpanzee, and Wildlife Safari Itinerary

After morning breakfast at the lodge, get ready with your packed lunch box and drive to the park headquarters for a briefing from the Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers who allocate you to a gorilla family group you going to trek that day. Once your groups are confirmed,the guide leads you through the thick impenetrable forest to search for the habituated endangered rare mountain gorilla family, once you locate a gorilla family you only be allowed to interact with them for only one hour and you should always keep maximum silence while with these gorillas, feel free to take photo with them as you learn more about the interesting lifestyle in the forest. After the awesome adventure, return to the park headquarters for a certificate appreciating you for participating in the gorilla conservation in Bwindi Forest and as a sign of a successful gorilla trekking safari in Uganda. Later in the afternoon, you will transfer from Bwindi forest to lake Bunyonyi, Uganda’s deepest and most scenic lake dotted with several islands. Dinner and overnight stay at your lodge.

After an early morning breakfast, you will go for a boat ride or canoe ride on lake Bunyonyi in which you shall sight several islands and also interact with the locals. Later you will transfer back to Kampala, stopping over for lunch in Mbarara and later at the equator. Continue with the drive to Entebbe, on arrival your driver drops you at your hotel of residence.
