Day 1: Transfer from Kigali to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Our adventure begins with an early morning pick-up from Kigali, Rwanda, where you will meet your professional guide and start the scenic drive towards Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in Uganda, one of the world’s most remarkable rainforest destinations and home to the endangered mountain gorillas.
The journey takes you through the beautiful landscapes of Rwanda and southwestern Uganda, offering breathtaking views of rolling hills, local communities, farmlands, and the stunning countryside often referred to as the “Land of a Thousand Hills.” Along the way, you will have opportunities to enjoy cultural interactions, take memorable photographs, and experience the unique beauty of East Africa.
After crossing the Rwanda–Uganda border, you will continue to the Bwindi region, arriving at your lodge for relaxation and preparation for the next day’s unforgettable gorilla trekking experience. Your guide will provide a briefing about the trek, safety guidelines, and what to expect during your encounter with the mountain gorillas.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Experience in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Wake up early for breakfast before transferring to the park headquarters for a briefing by experienced Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers. After learning the trekking guidelines, set off into the dense rainforest in search of a habituated mountain gorilla family. The trek may take between 2 and 6 hours, depending on the gorillas' location, but every step through the ancient forest is rewarding. Once you find the gorillas, you will spend one unforgettable hour observing their natural behavior as they feed, play, and interact. This once-in-a-lifetime encounter offers incredible photography opportunities and a deeper appreciation of one of the world's most endangered primates. After the trek, return to the park headquarters to receive your gorilla trekking certificate before heading back to your lodge to relax and reflect on this extraordinary wildlife experience.

Day 3: Golden Monkey Trekking in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park & Transfer to Kigali
After an early breakfast, depart for Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, Uganda's smallest national park and home to the endangered golden monkeys. Following a briefing by park rangers, embark on an exciting trek through the bamboo forests in search of these rare and energetic primates. Once located, enjoy an hour observing their playful behavior as they leap through the trees, forage for food, and interact within their troops. The trek also offers spectacular views of the Virunga Volcanoes and opportunities to spot a variety of bird species.
After the golden monkey trekking experience, enjoy lunch before beginning the scenic drive back to Kigali, Rwanda. Arrive in the evening and transfer to your hotel or Kigali International Airport, marking the end of an unforgettable safari filled with remarkable primate encounters and breathtaking landscapes.
