5 Days Trekking Adventure in Bale Mountain National Park

Arrival at the park headquarters we will have a brief break, then have the chance to spot animals species such as the endemic mountain Nyala and Menelik bushbuck, as well as reedbuck and common warthogs, all commonly seen in the area around the park headquarters. Birds species seen in the area include the endemic Abyssinia catbirds, Abyssinia longclaw, as well as the white backed black tit, wattled ibis, both only found in Ethiopia and Entire, Overnight is spent at the campsite Dinsho. This morning, After breakfast, we will start the hike from Dinsho to sodota and we will hike for 6 to 7 hours and a distance of 18 kms across the beautiful landscapes of the National park. we will passe through beautiful local village and ln the way we have chance to spot rare and endangered Ethiopian wolf as well as to see seasonal flowers and endemic Birdlife, lunch en route at the one of beautiful Habra waterfall, then continue to Sodota and before reaching to the campsite we will have a great opportunity to look for endemic species of Ethiopian wolf and some endemic birds. Overnight is spent at Sodota campsite.

This morning, After breakfast we will trek for 5 to 7 hours and distance of 16 kms across the beautiful landscapes of National park, passing through kotare plains region of Bale mountain National park, a beautiful pocket of verdant landscapes, thick shrubbery and picturesque meadows and home to the endemic mountain Nyala and mannalike bushbuck and reaches an altitude of 3400 meters above sea level. at the Adlay campsite, the nights is spent in the natural woodland found in this part of the National park. Overnight is spent at delay campsite.

After breakfast take us one hours hike to rejoin our vehicle or driver, passing through beautiful woodland forest with Chance to spot endemic animals then continue driving via Robe and Goba After an early morning breakfast, the journey as we drive from Dinsho to Sennett plateau region the largest Afro-alpine region on the African continent, known as the Sennett plateau, we will trek to Garba Guaracha lakes, one of the largest alpine lakes. reaching death of around 6m and with a name that means black lake in the local language. Situated at a height of over 4000 meters above sea level, and drive to the second highest mountain in the Ethiopia, mount Tulle Demtuu, situated at a 4377 meters above sea level, with to make the short climb. we continue to the spectacular afro alpine moorland.
