Settle into your air-conditioned vehicle and begin your journey north. 7:00–9:30 AM – Scenic Drive Through Upper Egypt Relax and enjoy the changing landscapes as you travel roughly 135–160 km north. Pass through agricultural fields, small towns, and desert edges. Your guide will provide background on the history and significance of the sites ahead. 9:30–11:30 AM – Abydos: Temple of Seti I Arrive at Abydos, one of the most sacred sites in ancient Egypt. This was the legendary burial place of Osiris and a pilgrimage destination for thousands of years.
