First i would like to say that our guide Rui was really awesome . 6 out of 5 stars for Rui !! Highly recommend him. He was full of information, knew almost everyone on the route and educated us on the culture and fauna of Santo Antao. The best hiking of our trip was Santa Antao and Pico Fogo . The Adriano family on Fogo was wonderful. Snorkeling with turtles was another highlight Could be some improvement though . Our first day was with a guide with limited english ( and we have no Portuguese ). He didn’t really know the itinerary and neither did we so we missed a couple of things. Also we originally planned to hike Sao Antao self guided but hired a guide ( Rui , well worth it to enhance the experience). There is an app but after doing the hike we felt it did not provide enough info. Some detailed written instructions would have been necessary to find the included restaurants and tastings as well as locating the hosts at some of the accomodations Overall 4-1/2 stars though !! 6/5 stars for Rui , our guide

It was amazing time I had in Santo Antao. I was traveling alone so I booked a tour from ACTOUR. The driver was so friendly. Because of this one day I could visit many places. It was so helpful.

We went on a 6-day tour on the Island Santo Antao. Everything was perfectly organized, from hotels to local restaurants. We would book it again through Act Tour. Highly recommended. Nati was the best tour guide

We had four great days in Santo Antǎo with Actour. It was so nice to arrive on the morning ferry, see our name on a piece a paper, and everything was taken care of. We asked for a tailored package of multiple day hikes and they delivered even in the rain. Our guide was amazing. All the lunches were tasty and we learned so much about the plants and the island. 100% would recommend Actour to plan you an unforgettable trip.
