Adore Comores

Mutua and team took care of us for our week in the Comoros, hotel recommendations, transfers, and internal flights to Moheli and back. Everything went very smoothly, even with flight delays we were kept informed and drivers were always waiting for us. You could travel independently but it wouldn’t be easy, booking through Adore Comoros takes the stress away.

We booked transfers to and from the airport; a half day tour around Moroni; and a full day tour of the northern coastal area. Total cost €240. - 2 x airport transfer services were excellent: helpful, informative drivers - 1 x tour took us to the places we suggested; 1 x tour missed out one of our named places - We were clear that we were open to extra suggestions; but both tour drivers appeared more interested in finishing as quickly as possible. Half day tour at €60 was 2 hours. Full day tour at €100 was 5 hours. Great communication through the booking process. Overall OK, but felt short changed. There isn’t much choice on Comoros. So go ahead and book, but put yourself in charge of where you want to go.

Issa is an excellent guide. As a local we went through his village in the north east and picked up many hitchhikers, which is a local custom. It's a great way to meet people. I did the northern tour which is said to have more to see. There's limited competition in the day trip market.

We are 2 Spaniards we have been 5 days in Comoros, we booked our trip through their website, with the local agency "Adore Comores", they are the best in the country. We couldn't be more happy with the experience. We contacted them months before our trip, and both the treatment and the communications were excellent. They organized everything for our 5 days, airport pickup, hotel reservation, visits every day with guide and lunch included, and transfer to the airport back. They work with the best hotels on the island. They sent us the previous invitation letter for the visa upon arrival at the airport. The agency is serious and professional, with a physical office in Moroni (the capital). We were in contact with the agency via WhatsApp because we need a change of tour due to a twist of the ankle, and there was no problem, they adapted everything to the moment and without problems. As for the island, it is all volcanic and very green, the climate is tropical and the beaches are dreamy of almost all of white sand and turquoise waters. Grande Comore is the main one and offers quite a few places to visit beautiful and interesting. The people are open and very friendly. We have enjoyed our stay very much thanks to the agency.
