Adventure Algeria

I had an exceptional experience with Adventure Algeria on a 10-day private tour across Algeria. From start to finish, everything was handled with an incredibly high level of professionalism, care, and attention to detail. We traveled through Algiers, Constantine, Timimoun, Ghardaïa, Roman ruins, and historic kasbahs, and every part of the trip felt thoughtfully planned and seamless. Even though we booked last minute during high season, the team listened closely to our preferences and made everything work beautifully. What stood out most was the people. Every single person I interacted with was a consummate professional while also being genuinely warm, welcoming, and kind. Our guides, Rafiq and G. Lali, were knowledgeable, engaging, and a pleasure to spend time with. Rafiq went out of his way to help me resolve a hotel issue quickly and calmly, which I really appreciated. Walid was available 24/7 as a main point of contact and made the entire experience feel easy and stress-free. All logistics, including visas and permits, were handled smoothly, and I always felt safe and well taken care of. I have traveled extensively and used other tour companies before, including one just prior in Morocco, and Adventure Algeria stands out clearly above the rest. I would recommend them without hesitation and would absolutely travel with them again.

We decided on our own itinerary and hotels and contacted Adventure Algeria to help us with a driver and English-speaking guide. I would really recommend them and am sure their own itineraries are also excellent. It is a wonderful and complicated country to travel in independently so it's useful to have someone with you who knows what's what. Our driver was Mustafa, who turned out to be one of the business owners, and was so warm and friendly. His good-heartedness made a big difference to our trip. He also kindly treated us to a quick tour of Algiers when we arrived at 7pm after a 6 hour drive and he must surely have wanted to get home. All part of his love of sharing all that is best about his country. Sometimes I found them a bit slow to reply to emails when I was setting things up but I was emailing in English, which didn't help, and it's worth persevering as they provided a very good service. We paid upfront on Day 1 in £ and I thought their rates were very reasonable.
