Aji and her brothers are wonderful people. Friendly, respectful, and open in their communication. I took a private tour yesterday, and it warmed my heart. Why? We bought little gifts for the children and then spontaneously handed them out on the street. Happy children's eyes! The tour was personalized, just as I had hoped; everything went perfectly. We're going on another group outing on Saturday. Who would do that if they weren't completely satisfied and happy with Aji Tours?

We had the absolute pleasure of spending a day with Aji on a private tour to Makasutu, and it was one of the highlights of our trip to The Gambia! From the moment we met her, Aji was so lovely, full of energy, and incredibly knowledgeable. Everything she shared with us was fascinating – we were completely intrigued by her stories and insights. She made the entire experience fun and engaging, and my 10-year-old son adored her! They became great friends, and she was fantastic with him, which made the day even more special for us as a family. Honestly, we wish we had met Aji earlier in our trip because we would have booked so much more with her – she truly made our time unforgettable. Aji has amazing energy, and we genuinely feel like we made a friend for life. We still keep in touch, and if we ever return to The Gambia, we will only book tours with her. We met Aji in her streetoffice next to the bank on Senegambia Street after we had a bad experience with the tour operator we had flown to Gambia with. No, no more packed tourist buses for us that only go where they want (and have deals!), but instead we wanted real stories and an authentic experience. There are so many “local” guides on the street: pretty much everyone with two legs grabs your arm or “knows a friend”. No, that’s also not the right and safe way. Luckily, there is Aji, a woman with a radiant smile who runs her own guiding company. And… she has an official license from the Ministry of Tourism. Check! What more can I say: she tailored the whole experience to our wishes… check! At a cheaper price than the tour operator… check. Completely private guiding for just the two of us… check. Safe, genuinely friendly, a real chatterbox, and an incredible ambassador with deep knowledge of her country… check. As affordable as some unlicensed local guides… check! We still can’t stop talking about her to our friends: Aji was the icing on the cake for us. Thanks to her and her team we had an incredible experience in Gambia. She not only taught us a lot about the country she’s so proud of, she also took us to hidden gems where no tourists go, kept everything safe, kept overly pushy vendors away, and helped us haggle when we wanted to buy something. Her English sounds as if it’s her native language. Where do i begin... We met with Aji and her fantastic crew on our first day in Gambia. We had immediately felt their amazing energy and decided to book 2day trip to the heart of the country. It turned out to be the best decision we could've made. Aji showed us so many amazing places and explained everything about the country. She is an amazing person with a great charisma, knowledge and pure heart. She also helped us with everything after the trip ended. I cant imagine my time in Gambia without her.
