Andaando Travel Tours of Senegal

I'm so grateful that I found Andaando before my recent travels to Senegal & Gambia. My friend and I knew that we would need guidance on planning our two week itinerary and would need transportation and language assistance once we arrived. I emailed Andaando and a few other companies a few months before our trip and Andaando was the best choice. They responded to my multiple questions promptly and worked with us to come up with an itinerary that included a good mix of must-see sites as well as some more unique places. Once we arrived in Senegal, Ali from Andaando along with his wonderful driver Ibu picked us up from the airport and truly took care of everything for the whole trip. They booked all of our hotels and found top-notch specialized tour guides in every city we went to. It was clear that Andaando has a lot of experience and knows all of the best places and people. When my suitcase failed to arrive Ali and Ibu- our driver- went above and beyond to help me get it back even driving 8 hours to retrieve it from the airport when it finally arrived. They were super patient with a very difficult drive through The Ganbia to take us to a chimpanzee restoration project that me and my friend really wanted to go to. They were calm and professional when we came across a crazy number of police stops and a presidential motorcade. When my friend needed some medicine for a cough they found a great clinic and made sure she had everything they needed. There is no way we could have planned and experienced such a seamless trip without Andaando!!

We went on a 2 week tour of Senegal and The Gambia and I couldn't speak more highly of the experience. Everything was professional yet warm and personal, and so thoughtfully organized from the beginning. It was essential to us that we have a locally owned, Senaglese company, and we are so grateful that Andaando delivered everything we needed. Our guide Ali's number one priority was our safety and well-being, yet at the same time he managed to ensure that we had a great time and engaged Senegal in a real, authentic way. By the end of the trip our guide Ali and the amazing driver Ibou felt like family. I hope we get to go back and visit again. Jerejef, Andaando!

Everything about our excursion to Lac Rose was great. Our driver (forgot his name) was on time and drove safely, and our guide Alex was very knowledgeable about the lake and really down to earth. Communication with all parties, including Ali who organized the trip, was prompt and clear. I highly recommend this travel company.

We used Andaando Travel Tours for 2 day trips in Senegal. Mr. Ali was super easy to communicate with email. He was responsive with all his replies, and was very prompt. Mr. Ali and Jbi the driver picked us up from the airport. They were clear in communication of where to meet them, and they were there at anticipated pickup time. The car was very modern and clean. Jbi was an excellent driver and very safe. I felt incredibly comfortable with his driving. We did a Goree Island tour, and a local Goree guide, who also happened to be a second Ali, came with us. Ali did an exceptional job of explaining about the island and the history. The tour was an absolute highlight. Our second day tour was a Bandia / Lac Rose Combo, with Jbi and Mr. Ali. Again had a prompt pick up and all went as planned. The pink lake was also actually pink the day we went so that was a plus! Mr Ali provided a lot of information to us along the way. Price was reasonable on Senegal standards and it was good value for money. Would highly recommend for any tours in Senegal!
