A few weeks ago I was in Santa Antão doing some trekking routes with Mario Jardel, a very friendly and pleasant guide, with whom I was able to discover all the stunning landscapes of the island. The service was excellent! I highly recommend this agency, as the treatment I received from the entire team was superb. It was an unforgettable experience, and I will definitely return to do more trekking routes around the island!

Our hike with guide Elton on the Cape Verdean island of Santo Antão was an absolute highlight of our vacation. From the very beginning, Elton was incredibly friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. Throughout the entire tour, he shared a wealth of fascinating information about the island's culture, history, and unique flora and fauna. The perfect ending to the day was a delicious lunch at a small, authentic restaurant, not overrun with tourists. There, we enjoyed the local cuisine in a very pleasant atmosphere. Fantastic hike in the Paul Valley with our guide Helton! During the hike, he explained many interesting things about the local flora and fauna and gave us excellent suggestions for other trails in Santo Antão. Helton is very knowledgeable, speaks perfect English and Spanish, and gave us a truly local experience, even taking us to lunch at a typical kiosk in the heart of the valley—an authentic experience we would never have discovered on our own. We highly recommend this hike and Helton to anyone visiting Santo Antão.

I can only say good things about the organiser and our guide Helton. They took all our special requests into account when planning the trip and made everything possible. We always felt well looked after during the hike. We had a lot of close contact with the locals along the way and sometimes stayed in homestead accommodation. It was very nice because it felt very untouristy! We often felt like we were at the end of the world. However, some of the hiking trails are not suitable for inexperienced hikers who are not sure-footed. We would recommend the hiking tour across the island of Santo Antao to anyone who wants to experience something new and see few tourists.

We went hiking with Helton in Santo Antão for five days in November 2025. The guiding was superb, providing fantastic insights into Cape Verdean culture and way of life. Helton also facilitated wonderful interactions with the local population, and we learned a great deal about the flora and fauna.
