We’ve just returned from a tailor-made 15-day, 4-island tour in Cabo Verde, and it exceeded all our expectations. Entire tour was organised by BU Country Tours – including all transportation, logging, and excursions. Everything was seamless—well organised, punctual, and perfectly adapted to our family. A special thank you to Deise for her patience and care in designing our itinerary, and to the back-office team for their constant support during the trip. Our guides and drivers were outstanding—knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely passionate about sharing their country. They made every experience richer and more personal. Highlights included hiking in Santo Antão, the quad tour on Boa Vista, and snorkelling with turtles on São Vicente —each one unforgettable. We also loved the Orquidea Guest House and the fantastic breakfasts at Luna Hotel. We don’t normally choose organised tours, but this experience may well change that. Highly recommended.

Excellent
It was a great hike and a cool group - thanks to our guide Americo, who gave us some facts about capo verde and especialy Santiago on our way to the starting point of the hike. It was a challenging hike as stated in the program but he brought all of us safe up to the peak and down again. The picnic at the top was great! We had beautiful views and it was an impressive experience! Thanks Yvonne & Dominik

Carlos and his colleagues made the full-day Santiago Island group tour an unforgettable experience. They welcomed us with warm smiles and shared so much about the island’s history, culture, and everyday life. Their knowledge, kindness, and enthusiasm truly elevated the entire day. The previous day I also joined the Praia and Cidade Velha tour, which was equally amazing and a day to remember. I highly recommend Bu Country tours.

Incredible experience! Even though I booked my spot for a tour of Santiago island at the very last moment, the team was reactive enough to find me a spot, and I had a very good time during the tour of the island. The team was very welcoming, knowledgeable and fun. I certainly recommend!

Spent one great week in Cape Verde thanks to BU, which saved us the hassle of organizing local ferries and flights, transfers, trips and accommodations. I simply sent a query via email and soon received an itinerary tailored to our needs. Everything was great, they were on time and we didn't have any hassles on any of the islands we visited. Communication was excellent; they created a group and wrote to us in advance what we would be doing the next day. Some of the highlights were swimming with turtles, making (and eating) cuscuz, hiking on Santo Antao. All in all, I would totally recommend them to save you the headaches of organizing everything.
