Caramau Tours

HUGE recommendation! Caramau is highly recommended as a tour guide. We went swimming with sharks, through salt caves in the deserted desert, to the Sneak Peak (located in the appendix), and through a beautiful little fishing village with him – and it was a fantastic tour! He knows exactly the best timing for everything, plays music, tells stories about his life in Santa Maria, and makes you feel great the whole time. We booked everything through CaboLibre Apartments and the lovely Rainer, and we were also very happy with the apartments there! Definitely recommended!! Caramau, best regards from the Germans.

The four of us booked the 'private' full-day tour; the organization was excellent, and the value for money was superb. Caramau has a great local network, knows every corner of the island, and is very responsive to guests' wishes. We had the salt lakes all to ourselves and were gone again by the time the tour buses arrived. One highlight was a seafood restaurant with fresh seafood from the Atlantic Ocean right next door. (The best octopus ever, gigantic lobsters (4-5 kg), and crustaceans we'd never seen or eaten before). Caramau has a great sense of when guests want to chat and when silence is golden. The 5/5 stars are a given and more than deserved. Highly recommended! Thank you!

A small, privately run agency deeply rooted in the island. Friendly, competent, and focused solely on the customer's needs! No pressure, everything is possible… And there's always a hidden gem included. The price-performance ratio is more than fair! Definitely recommended.
