Cozy Vibes Travel

We booked the 10-day-Package with Cozy Vibes travel and spent a great time in Algeria. Everything was arranged perfectly, we had excellent guides with a very good knowledge –both in englisch and history and culture. They always took care of us, responded flexibly to our wishes and let us feel save and comfortable during the whole trip. We got an extenssive impression of the wonderful country. However visitors should be prepared to accept some short nights for taking flights to the dessert destination or the oasis. But it is absolutly worth to see and to spent a dessert night in a small tent, well supplied by the Tuaregs. Before booking we had an extensive email-contact to clear visa, payment etc – any email was answered detailed and promptly. Visa assistance and airport pick-up worked also (except two little delays) good and reliable.

I wanted to travel to Algeria in April 2026 with my wife. I wanted a program no longer than two weeks, visiting Algiers, Tassili n'Ajer from Djanet, and Hoggar from Tamanrasset. I contacted Cozy Vibes Travel through Abd El Djalil Tifas. He was immediately available and prepared a program for me lasting 13 days from Italy to Italy, from April 8 to 20, 2026, at a very reasonable cost. We were welcomed on the day of arrival and enjoyed the gracious hospitality in Tifas's home, where his mother and wife treated us to a delicious Algerian dinner. We then spent one night at the 4-star Saint Eugene Hotel, followed by a guided tour of Algiers. In the evening, at 11:00 PM, we flew to Djanet. We were welcomed by Tamiramar Tours Agency, Hamza Chikh and Aouameur Kamal. We then spent the night in a hotel and departed for Tassili, excellently escorted. Four nights in a tent. Everyone did their best to assist us, both motivated and enthusiastic, but in our seventies. Then we spent a night on a flight to Tamanrasset, accompanied by Hakza Chik, and stayed in a hotel. We visited Tamanrasset and stayed in a hotel again, then departed, escorted by the military, for Assekrem, the hermitage of Charles de Foucault. Exciting! We spent a night indoors in one of the houses in Assekrem. Then Hoggar, again escorted by the military, for two nights in a tent in an incredibly beautiful landscape, different from Tassili. Finally, we returned to Tamanrasset, said goodbye to Hamza Chik, and departed that night for Algiers. Abd El Djalil Tifas picked us up at the airport and drove us to the Saint Eugene hotel, driving through Algiers, for breakfast and a bit of rest. Then Tifas took us back to the airport for our flight to Italy. We were welcomed and treated wonderfully! Thank you for allowing two elderly people to enjoy the beauty of Algeria! Well constructed trip to Algiers, Ghardaia ,Tipaza and Cherchel, over a period of six days. Welcoming meal on arrival at Djalil’s apartment prepared by his wife. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The various guides were friendly and knowledgeable and we picked up a good understanding of Algerian culture.

The trip with Djalil from Cozy Vibes was perfect. We spent a week in Algeria (Algiers, Constantine, and Djanet), and everything was superbly organized. Special requests, such as different times for domestic flights or attending football matches, were immediately accommodated. Everything ran like clockwork, and the communication was always friendly and fun. Thank you for the fantastic organization!

Djalil and his agency provided a great door to door service including helping us get our visas, booking everything we needed including a great value hotel, transport and guides everywhere we went. We spent several days getting a really good understanding of Algiers, two days in the M’greb valley really diving into the history and culture of the places along the valley Ànd à day visiting Tipaza and Cherchell. Cozy vibes took all the hassle out of everything so we could have a relaxing and enjoyable time. We will definitely use them when we come back to visit the south of the country with its prehistoric history. We would unreservedly recommend them to travellers to Algieria.
