With the current situation in the Middle East, I was very concerned about traveling alone to Egypt. But after more research and seeing that the threat level for Egypt never changed from Level 2, (threat level assigned to France, Cancun) I decided to fulfill my dream trip to Egypt. And I am so happy I did. Greeting me at the Cairo airport was Nelly whose smile and enthusiasm did away with any qualms I had as a woman traveling alone in Egypt. In fact, the real heroes that made this trip so effortless and so enjoyable, are the staff of EGYPT AND BEYOND. I am talking about the airport transfer reps (Nelly, Sabry, Mohamed), the incredible and knowledgeable Egyptologists who accompanied me all through the tour (Hannah and Ahmed) making this thousands of years old culture come alive. As well as the drivers, hotel and cruise ship staff – everyone always with a smile and warm greeting. At no time did I feel afraid, threatened or left to fend on my own. I always could count on this extraordinary, experienced team from EGYPT AND BEYOND – they were always one step ahead. The itinerary that Tarek Moussa, owner of EGYPT AND BEYOND, created for me started out with a 2 day stay in Cairo to view the iconic pyramids, Sphinx and Step Pyramid of Saqquara. The remainder of the itinerary was a cruise down Lake Nasser, which provided an opportunity along the way to disembark and view and walk through the temples and tombs that had to be moved to avoid losing them to the waters of the Aswan Dam. The cruise ends at Abu Simbel, with a visit during the day and the Sound and Light show in the evening. After this, I flew back to Aswan and this time boarding a cruise boat (Acamar) to begin my cruising down the Nile, once again stopping at temples such as Kom Ombo and the Temple of Horus ending at the jaw-dropping Valley of the Kings, Temple of Hatshepsut and Karnak Temple. I have recently returned from taking a group to Egypt which I worked with the team at Egypt and Beyond. I found Egypt and Beyond to be extremely professional from my initial communication with Tarek to been met at the airport by Nelly who is an absolute credit to your company. We then had the pleasure of spending a few days in Cairo and Alexandria guided by Rania and our driver Mohammad again were fantastic. On arrival in Luxor our guide Mahmoud was with us for our trip from Luxor to Aswan showing us the sites on our way while we sailed on the magnificent Sonesta Sun Goddess. The crew on the Sun Goddess couldn't be faulted and our waiter in the restaurant Mina went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable experience. As a travel agent after the experience myself personally and the group have had I wouldn't use anyone else and highly recommend the team at Egypt and Beyond.

Our trip to Morocco organised by Egypt & Beyond Travel was Absolutely Fantastic. We asked Tarek Mousa, Chairman of the company to organise a Private Tour of Morocco for just the two of us. Our Guide and Driver were local tour guides from Marrakech and we got to know Morocco from their point of view which was so interesting. The Itinerary the team organised showed us all the highlights of Morocco- the Majestic Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca, the delights of the Souks in Fes, camping in the Sahara Desert in glamping Tents, watching the sunset over the Sahara Desert on a Camel, driving over the Atlas Mountains, Souks in Marrakech - all Amazing ! Having our own private driver allowed us to take our time where we wished and skip all the queues. The airport transfers were great too. Our accommodation was outstanding, we loved the Riad’s in the centre of the Souks in Fes and Marrakech. We have also travelled to Egypt previously with Egypt & Beyond Travel, which was also Amazing - great Company.
