Egypt Joy Travel

We used Egypt Joy to plan our 2 week holiday to Egypt. They did an excellent job organizing accommodation, tours, private transfers etc and they went out of their way to add on extras such as hot air ballooning and private snorkeling trips. They were responsive and held our hands the whole way making our trip seamless (really appreciated with a 5, 7 and 9 year old!)

Christmas/New Years, 2025 From the beginning, as we planned our visit to Egypt, Joy Travel was a wonderful resource for our group. We traveled as a private group…a family of twelve with ages ranging from teenagers to 80+ years old. Their team was extremely flexible and accommodated all our individual needs. Joy Travel took great care of the group including meeting us upon arrival and assisting us with visas and navigating baggage claim. They helped us find our Joy Travel driver and we began the trek into Cairo. Once arriving at our Cairo hotel, Joy Travel assisted us with check-in and answered all our questions. We we’re extremely comfortable with everything! Our family enjoyed an outstanding two-week trip throughout Egypt beginning in Cairo with our very knowledgeable guide Mahmoud Farah…I would recommend him to anyone. Mahmoud is specifically trained in Egyptian archeology and history…he was a gem and a huge resource to our group throughout our entire visit to Egypt. In summary, I definitely recommend Egypt Joy Travel for planning your trip and all their customer service touchpoints throughout the visit. I also definitely recommend our guide Mahmoud Farah…he made our trip very enjoyable. Request Mahmoud specifically…you will not be disappointed.

Thanks to our guide Mahmoud with Egypt Joy, I had the most amazing time in Egypt. I felt so safe with our guide, who was incredibly kind and knowledgeable. Aside from navigating the stressful packed areas, and knowing all of the best places to visit, his greatest asset (in my opinion) was his expansive knowledge of Ancient Egyptian history, to which he used to illustrate the story of each site we viewed. If you are considering booking with Egypt Joy or Mahmoud, just know that you are in for a truly remarkable trip.

Just returned from a 11 day trip that we planned through Egypt Joy. We were an extended family of 12 arriving from all over the United States and traveling for the holidays, ages 18-83, on a private tour arranged by Egypt Joy. Every detail was taken care of from arrival into the country to departure, making it an easy and fun trip for all of us. They provided excellent people at the airports to assist us, excellent drivers and a really knowledgeable guide, Mahmoud, who stayed with us for the entire tour and was able to answer all our many questions. Egypt is full of long lines and crowds, especially during the holidays, but Mahmoud and the Egypt Joy team were able to get us around them seemlessly. We learned a lot, saw so many incredible things, and were able to enjoy the trip without any stress. I highly recommend Egypt Joy and Mahmoud.

I got to travel on the Nile River in a style I enjoyed. No dress codes which made it a whole lot easier as you are going to get messy when exploring the Egypt. Got a room I wanted with every comfort I needed. Gave me excellent meals on board and the crew on board treated me well. This travel group knows how to find a good boat.
