What an incredible experience!! Angelica was brilliant talking us through so much information about the sharks at the bay and is so passionate about what she does. Also huge thanks to our driver Frank, what a kind and gentle man. Sad to see the locals feeding the fish for tourists, as this means the nursing sharks don't learn how to hunt. Explore Cape Verde don't do this (or encourage it) and really explain why.

We visited the lemon sharks on the 7th of March and Hannah was our guide. She was amazing. The knowledge that she has helped make the trip special. We even got to see a turtle getting rescued as it had trawler net around its neck. You dont realise what rubbish gets left behind in the sea. The sharks were great to see. This is a must if you go to Cape Verde.

My family went on the Shark Tour with Lin as our guide and Freddie was our driver. The tour was excellent! Lin was bright and bubbly and was a wonderful host. She was extremely knowledgeable, fun and approachable making even the journey to and from Shark Bay super interesting and enjoyable! I was a bit nervous of the sharks .. it wouldn't have been my choice but the family wanted to go. I was pleasantly surprised! The sharks came close enough to see but not too close for comfort . Also loved the respect shown to the sharks and their habitat by Lin in the way she conducted the experience. Fabulous! Freddie was also a great driver who had our shoes ready and waiting for us at the bus once we came out of the water. Thank you!! Tips: your bum will get wet, water wasn't too cold, take a small bag that can be adjusted to above waist height for your phone/camera to keep it safe.

We had the most amazing experience today with the Lemon Sharks (Monday 12th January 2026). Angelica -Our Marine biologist and tour guide was so knowledgeable she made the experience much more enjoyable and I learnt so much. Thank you for the experience
