We had an excellent birding experience with Ebrima, whose knowledge and passion for birds are truly exceptional. We were impressed by his ability to recognize birds of prey in flight and he has a talent for finding a wide variety of species in their natural habitat. He is also one of the kindest persons we have met in our lives, he is patient and very approachable. He is strongly committed to environmental conservation and to educating the local community about the value of protecting bird habitats. A fantastic birder and guide! I have been on a couple of excursions with him, and he is professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. He can spot and name a bird species while driving. And he knows where to find the hard to find birds as well.

Looking for a bird guide in The Gambia or Senegal? Look no further than Ebrima ‘Hawkeye’ Sidibeh! I had the pleasure of having him guide me in January 2025 in The Gambia, and I can honestly say he was an excellent guide. He had a knack for hearing, spotting and identifying birds quickly, which really helped me get the best chance of seeing and photographing them. Gambia is famous for its rich birdlife, with over 550 species recorded, making it a fantastic spot for birdwatching. A guide like Ebrima is highly recommended for their expertise, professionalism and reliability. Plus, he’s a really friendly chap who went out of his way to help me see the birds I wanted to see.
