We started this journey over 20 years ago after seeing how stressful airport arrivals could be for visitors coming to Mauritius. Long flights, unfamiliar surroundings, and unreliable transport often made the first moments on the island unnecessarily difficult. Our founder experienced these challenges firsthand and believed there had to be a better way — one built on transparency, comfort, and genuine care. Coming from airport operations, we understood how important punctuality, clear communication, and trust are. In 2003, we began with a single minibus handling airport staff transfers, and by 2005, PYS Travel & Tours Ltd was officially founded, expanding into private airport transfers and excursions with the required tourist permits. As tourism evolved, so did we. In 2019, we introduced car rental services to better serve travelers seeking flexibility and independence. Today, our focus remains the same as it was from the beginning — reliable service, disciplined drivers, and a personal approach that makes every guest feel safe and welcome.
