I was struggling to find a reputable licensed and insured tour company to book our group trips whilst in Mauritius. After hours of research I found Mauritius Tours who ticked all the boxes for us. Jenny and Jay were amazing with excellent communication throughout the booking process in the UK and whilst in Mauritius. They were informative and ensured we were safe at all times. We thoroughly enjoyed both trips. The boat trip was both relaxing and exhilarating gliding through the crystal clear waters on the cataspeed and relaxing on the top deck with homemade rum! We saw wild monkeys, dolphins, the amazing waterfall and were able to snorkel in turquoise sea with amazing fish. The Wild North Tour (hike) was superb, we saw wild monkeys, ate fresh guava from the bushes, picked peppercorns and had THE most amazing views. We were then able to swim in a stunning secret waterfall to cool off. Jenny and Jay ensured our safety and gently encouraged us when we were climbing the trickiest parts. I would highly recommend this fabulous family run tour agency.

We booked the Le Morne Brabant hike after seeing an excellent review Jay was our guide on the tour, he showed us unique viewpoints and took some brilliant photos. We did the hike at our own pace, saw some great views of the sea and the island, whilst enjoying the stories and history of Mauritius Jay told us on the hike. Communication was excellent throughout the process. After booking, Jenny was in touch with us to give more details and with information on equipment and appropriate footwear to take on the hike. Also they were very accommodating, and checked availability in case the weather was bad for the day we booked. I was impressed that Mauritius Tours prioritises safety as well as making sure customers have an excellent and easy experience.

Wild North Tour — The Wild North tour with Mauritius Adventours was an unforgettable day. Jay, Jenny and the lovely Roxy took us snorkelling in stunning clear waters, to a beautiful hidden waterfall, and on a hike that rewarded us with the most breathtaking views from the top. The kind of views that make you stop and just take it all in. Jay and Jenny are warm, passionate and knowledgeable guides who made the whole day feel personal and special — more like exploring with friends than going on a tour. If you’re visiting Mauritius, this is an absolute must.
