Just finished a 21 day tour from Capetown to Victoria Falls with Nomad ( via Tripadeal) through Sputh Africa, Namibia, Botswana, and Zimbabwe with Victor and Taro as our guide and driver. Cannot speak highly enough of these two gentlemen. They did a fantastic job, feeding us, helping us, guiding us and driving us to keep on schedule. The trip was extraordinary experience - lots seen and the big five plus many many more. Great experience. Definitely an experience, not for the faint hearted as it is truly an adventure. And we camped the entire way. But Nomad were well equipped. Great experience recommend if you are up for an exploration of South Africa to appreciate the people, the geology and the amazing wildlife.

We have just gotten back from a Cape Town to Windhoek tour, and the time spent on this adventure was fantastic. A special thanks to the crew that worked tirelessly on this trip and created an unforgettable experience- Tracy,that took care of us and whipped up the most delicious meals in the middle of nowhere, Arlington, our driver that navigated hours on the road, and Marvelous (Milo), who was always ready to lend a helping hand. We had a fabulous, diverse bunch of people on the trip, that added to the enjoyment. We chose the camping option, with camp sites being comfortable with good ablution blocks(you do have days in lodges when you are in cities). There was a mix of campers and people staying in lodges and both groups were satisfied with their accommodation. The trip covered key highlights of spectacular Namibia. If you have been considering this type of an adventure, I highly recommend you do it through this company

We had the most incredible self driving tour from SA to Kenya and back via Uganda and Rwanda. It was all organized by Nicholas from nomad tours. It was seamless. Not one problem in 15000km’s of driving.

We just finished our tour from Cape Town to Victoria Falls and we were absolutely delighted! The three staff members: Blessing, Matheus, and Albi were absolutely wonderful! It was our first time traveling in a group. We became very attached to the group and hope to have the opportunity to see each other again on one of your tours. The places we visited were amazing, and the time flew extremely quickly. Thank you for this unforgettable experience!

I just finished my 12 day trip north from Cape Town to Windhoek and I couldn't recommend this company enough. I will say that so much of the credit goes to our wonderful guide/cook Gabriel 'JoJo' and driver View. These two really have demanding jobs, from sunrise to sunset or later, with very little rest periods and large groups of travelers that may or may not get on well. Thankfully, our group was like a happy family from day one. Yes, there are long drives between points, but frequent stops to use the toilets, buy snacks, take photos or stretch our legs helped pass the time. The trucks were well equipped with a water filter, sun screens/curtains, a cooler stocked with ice, USB charging ports, and we rotated seating rows daily. I chose the camping option and was pleased with the spacious tents, ease at setting them up, comfortable sleeping mats, and really well-equipped campgrounds. The accommodated passengers were always very happy as well. To comment on the food - we always had enough for second helpings, and the meals were super tasty and variable. Jojo is a phenomenal cook and no one had any complaints. In fact, when we had long restaurant wait times and mediocre meals, we joked that we'd prefer his cooking. It was my first time on a camping trip, and as a solo female traveler on the African continent for the first time, I felt safe and very well taken care of. The group members were a mix from 23 years old to 74 years old, and from 5 different countries, with various native languages. We had 18 in our group, 11 women and 7 men. We really did get along like family and this trip was a lovely experience for me. I was very sad to leave today. Overall, the mix of relaxation, built in and optional activities, travel days, meals, etc, was perfect in my opinion, and I certainly will pass on the good word about Nomad.
