There’s nothing quite like enjoying a hot cup of coffee and freshly baked cupcakes in the crisp mountain air, surrounded by breathtaking views. Mother Nature provided the scenery, while Sani Pass & Lesotho Private Tours took care of everything else — making the experience truly unforgettable. Our guide and driver, Nathi, was both knowledgeable and accommodating, and even stepped in as our photographer to capture special moments along the way. One of the biggest advantages of traveling with Sani Pass & Lesotho Private Tours was the exclusivity — we didn’t have to share our vehicle with strangers, which made the adventure feel far more personal and comfortable.

I spoke with Angie and booked a private tour for 3 of us a few months out. From the start she was very responsive and provided all the information we wanted to know about booking. When our guide Greg picked us up morning of the tour, he arrived early and we were greeted with a lovely treat - a beautiful bouquet of flowers for each of the ladies on the trip, a bottle of water each, a small souvenir and some handmade fudge. Greg was knowledgeable and friendly and stopped at multiple places along the drive to 'show and tell' about different sights and history. About half way up the pass we stopped at a viewpoint and when we returned to the vehicle he had homemade muffins and an assortment of homemade cookies waiting, along with coffee or juice. When we got into Lesotho and the small village, Greg shared so much knowledge about the history, people and culture and we could see that he had a real relationship with the Beotho villagers, finding personal ways to support and guide them with improving life in their small village. It was a treat to be able to meet one of the local ladies and try her homemade bread. It was delicious. Greg made the drive safe, and as smooth as possible though the rough 4x4 route. I wasnt worried at any point about safety. I will be highly reccomending this tour and the company to anyone I know planning to visit South Africa. Thank you so much Angie and Greg

We took the long tour with Greg today and were thrilled! Despite the challenging weather, we always felt safe. Greg is a very knowledgeable person and knows the answer to almost every question. The stays in the Basotho villages were wonderful, the delicious treats prepared by Greg's wife were very tasty, and the thoughtful little touches were simply lovely.
