We've rarely had such a great experience with a tour operator as Santo Antão Tour! From Melissa's planning to our guide Nuno, everything was simply perfect. We chose the 3-day tour on Santo Antão, which we highly recommend. Routes, accommodations, transportation, food—we didn't have to worry about a thing, and Nuno was able to spontaneously accommodate our every wish during the hikes. We have just finished our tour with Fredson and had the best time ever. We couldn't recommend Santo Antão Tour more! Even if you are an experienced hiker you will gain so much more from having a local guide who cares about sustainability and knows the local area, food, flowers, plants and restaurants. We had a fantastic experience with Santo Antão Tour and their team. Melissa addressed all our needs during the trip planning and, with her extensive knowledge, ensured we had a wonderful stay. The three islands of São Vicente, Santo Antão, and Fogo, each with its own unique beauty, impressed and delighted us. The guides working on the team are very experienced and possess a wealth of knowledge about botany, crops, geology, and volcanology. They shared their in-depth knowledge of the historical and social context of the different islands with us during the various hikes. We will cherish all the wonderful experiences and images for a long time to come. The bookings and transfers always went smoothly. Melissa consistently checked in to make sure everything was running perfectly.

We went on a 3-day guided hike and were absolutely thrilled! The organization was top-notch, and we not only saw wonderful places but also learned a great deal about the island, its inhabitants, animals, flora, and fauna. Even when we had trouble getting to Santo Antão, Melissa and her team were immediately there to help us rearrange the tour. All in all, booking Santo Antão Tour for this trip was the best decision we made.

Our guide Adriano was simply fantastic. With his passion and knowledge, we learned an incredible amount. The guided tour, the shared cachupa meal, and the hike were superbly organized and absolutely breathtaking – without a doubt, they were among the highlights of our two weeks in Cape Verde.
