Our Story: From Local Roots to Unforgettable Journeys Hello! I’m Tesema (but my friends call me Tevan), the founder and heart behind Simien Ethio Tours. I was born and raised in the shadow of the Simien Mountains, where as a boy, I would watch foreign travelers pass through our village with a sense of wonder. They came seeking something magical – and I realized I held the key to showing them the Ethiopia I knew and loved. What began as showing visitors around my hometown has grown into a passion for sharing the authentic soul of Ethiopia – from the misty peaks of the Simiens to the ancient churches of Lalibela. We are fully authorized to operate as a professional Travel Agency bringing travelers from around the world to experience the real Ethiopia.
