The name "Terakaft Nitran" comes from Tamasheq , the language of the Tuareg people . "Terakaft" means "caravan" and "Nitran" means "of the stars," symbolizing the long treks across the Algerian desert , guided by the stars, carrying with them stories and traditions. Since our inception, Terakaft Nitran Treks has been committed to offering an authentic travel experience that respects local customs .
