The Bulldog Divers

If you're thinking about diving in Vilanculos, book with The Bulldog Divers. Seriously! From the moment I met Philip and Marlet, I felt like I was hanging out with friends rather than diving with a company. They're some of the warmest, most welcoming people you'll meet, and their passion for the ocean is absolutely contagious! It had been years since my last dive, so I did a refresher course with Armindo the evening before. He made me feel completely comfortable and confident getting back underwater, and I ended up having such a great time. The dive itself was seriously INCREDIBLE! Beautiful, healthy reefs, tons of marine life, and a team that is professional and genuinely cares about everyone in the water. You'll always feel safe, looked after, and encouraged! The day also included a stop on Bazaruto Island, where we had a yummy lunch and plenty of time to explore. Climbing the dunes and looking out over the island and the ocean was absolutely stunning and one of my favorite memories from Mozambique. I know that there are plenty of places that can take you diving, but Philip and Marlet have created something really special, and it's obvious how much they care about their guests and the experience they provide. I left with SUCH amazing memories, a renewed love for diving, and the feeling that I'd made new friends. I truly couldn't recommend them more

We went for a scuba diving experience last Sunday 14th June with the Bulldog diving center team. Instructors explained us in details the program, security was always the priority, boat and equipment were also in good conditions. The experience was amazing, we could see sharks, Manta, several turtles and so many colored fishes living in an amazing reef full of coral. It is one of our best diving experience so far in Indian Ocean. We highly recommend this Center and the spots. Thanks Virginie & Pierre.

5 stars are definitely not enough! We couldn't have asked for a better experience. We were treated like family from our very first interaction. The service and professionalism was top notch! The entire team was extremely friendly and all they wanted was for us to have the best experience, and they delivered beyond that! The team we were paired with was Oswaldo (our skipper) and Thana (our guide). The two of them ensured we had the absolute best experience, while maintaining professionalism and safety. Oswaldo maneuvered through the waters like an absolute machine. It was clear that he had a wealth of experience and made us all feel at ease. We knew we were in good hands with him behind the wheel. Thana's enthusiasm and energy was the perfect addition to ensure our experience was amazing. She went above and beyond to make sure we were all happy. Consider yourself lucky if she's your guide! Thank you so much to the entire Bulldog Divers team for ensuring we had the best experience we could've asked for. Will gladly book again and again and again! What a treat!!

4 awesome dives with Bulldog as well as a successful snorkelling trip, we spotted two Whale Sharks and a Reef Manta as well as loads of sea life during the dives. Armindo the dive master was super professional and made sure we were all safe, but enjoying ourselves throughout the day. Would really recommend going with Bulldog whilst in Vilanculos :)

I cannot recommend Bulldog divers highly enough! They made me feel ‘at home’ and at ease from the start. I have dived extensively all over the world and Bulldog divers are one of the best I have ever experienced. While the business is well run and professional it is rare to experience this level of care, personal attention, passion and respect for the ocean in this day and age where everything is so transactional. I am also immensely grateful for Philip and Armindo for reintroducing me to diving after 8 years of not diving - thank you for your patience and looking out for me. The location is absolutely stunning & we were blessed with so many rare sightings. The skipper and crew is also top notch and very experienced, you can’t help but feel at ease.
