Tour Gambia is a fully-licenced ground tour operator, based in Serrekunda, Gambia. Established in 2016 by experienced tour guide and birdwatcher Modou Barry, the business gone from strength to strength and now employs a number of experienced local guides and drivers besides Modou himself. Tour Gambia operates trips throughout Gambia, Senegal, Guinea-Bissau and beyond. Really nice tourguide Mr. Barry. We booked four daytrips during our stay in The Gambia. They were really private. We were able to create a tours based on our preferences. He has a lot of experience in guiding tourists and the prices are reasonable. Thanks! 5 stars for us.

As a group of friends, we had the most extraordinary trip thanks to Barry and his team. Thanks to these people, we saw everything Gambia has to offer, from the most harrowing sights to the most beautiful. Delicious lunches and wonderful tours. Barry picked us up for 8 days and brought us home safely. The great thing about this person is that, besides being a tour guide, he is also someone who loves helping the locals; everyone knows him and he knows everyone!!! Highly recommended, so don't hesitate to book him!!!

Easy booking, well organized and great itinerary. I reached out to Tour Gambia and asked for a custom 12-day tour for myself and a friend through Senegal and Gambia about a month in advance. Barry quickly responded and sent me an itinerary that exactly matched what we wanted. From the minute we landed, the trip went perfectly smoothly. All hotels, meals, and transportation costs were covered. The only out of pocket expenses were alcohol, souvenirs, tips, and some extra activities that we wanted to do (ATV ride, walking with lions, etc). Barry was our guide and gave us a wonderful tour of both countries with a nice mix of culture, nature, and activities. He was also very flexible and accommodated a detour to retrieve my friend’s bag from the airport on the 3rd day of the trip. Payment was easy, consisting of a wire in advance of the trip for most of the cost and then the remaining cost in cash at the end of the trip. If you want to visit West Africa, you should definitely book with Tour Gambia!
