Fantastic tour with Gadour to discover Matmata, the Star Wars filming locations along the movie route, Chenini, and Tataouine. We chose this tour because it was one of the few that allowed us to visit Matmata and Tataouine in a single day. It's therefore a bit more expensive, but it avoids having to do two separate excursions (and thus spending more overall). We don't regret it at all! The car was very comfortable and had air conditioning. The day lasted about 12-13 hours. Gadour made frequent stops, took us off the beaten path, and gave us lots of information about the life and history of the sites we visited and of Tunisia itself. Lunch was at a guesthouse in an oasis in the mountains, a truly unique setting, hosted by very welcoming and passionate people (Dar Sanâ). In Tataouine, Gadour took us to the best pastry shop in town to try the local gazelle horns. The day ended with a stunning sunset over the salt lake before we returned to Djerba. Time flew by; it was a magnificent day!

The service provided by our driver, Nassir Othman , from departure to arrival at the hotel was flawless. He was very attentive and detail-oriented, providing excellent service and taking warm care of us. I will never forget the stunning Tunisian desert landscapes and the warm welcome we received.
