We booked three tours over three days with Tunisia Guided Tours, and the entire experience was outstanding from start to finish. Our visit to the El Jem Colosseum was unforgettable—an awe-inspiring piece of Roman history and one of the most impressive ancient structures we’ve ever seen. Kamel guided us one of the tours, and he was truly exceptional. His depth of knowledge, passion for Tunisia, and ability to explain complex history in a clear, engaging way made the experience special. We explored places like Bulla Regia, the El Houria caves, the Atlas Mountains, and several historic towns, learning about Tunisia’s layered past shaped by Phoenician, Roman, Byzantine, Arab, Ottoman (Turkish), and French civilizations. What stood out most was how Kamel connected history to modern Tunisia—its people, traditions, daily life, and cultural values—so the tours felt meaningful, not just educational. You didn’t just see ruins and landmarks; you understood the story behind them. All three tours were well organized, comfortable, and thoughtfully paced. By the end of the three days, we had a deep appreciation for Tunisia’s rich history, cultural diversity, and cultural continuity through centuries of change.
