Tunisia With David

David is a truly unique tour guide. Not only is he personally familiar with the people who manage many of the key sites—both Jewish and non-Jewish—but he also really understands visitors’ needs and makes sure you feel looked after from start to finish. What stood out most was his broad knowledge of Jewish history in Djerba and across Tunisia. He brings the story of the community to life in a way that’s clear, respectful, and genuinely fascinating. On top of that, he’s super nice, friendly, and easy to be around, which makes the whole experience even better. It was a real pleasure being with David on our recent trip to Tunisia, and I would highly recommend him to anyone planning a visit—especially if you want someone knowledgeable, well-connected, and caring. They’re such amazing people, so warm and loving, and there’s honestly so much we can learn from them in our own personal lives. All the planning leading up to the trip was handled with amazing patience and real dedication. From the second we arrived, the hospitality, the seamless organization, and the genuine warmth they put into every single detail felt like nothing we’ve ever experienced anywhere else in the world. We’d originally thought Tunisia would just be another destination on the list, but we couldn’t have been more wrong. We were completely blown away by the incredible hospitality, the rich culture, and how welcoming the local people were—it’s truly something unique that you don’t find everywhere. I’m so glad we found David, Chanina, and their family; this trip wouldn’t have been half as magical without their expertise and care. If you’re thinking about visiting Tunisia, don’t look anywhere else—he’s the one who’ll make it unforgettable!

His smile doesn't leave his face , friendly, great to be with him , he gives his heart to his visitors , he takes care of everything, feel so safe and relaxed with him , lots of kosher food and so tasty too . best service, 6 stars !!!

Truly enjoyed our time with David, it was so interesting and informative. The past and present story of Djerba and Hara Kabira is amazing, and he is a great person to share it! Highly recommend his tour!
