Whitetip Divers

We had a brilliant two-tank dive at White Bank and Ave Maria. From start to finish, the whole experience was top-notch, beginning with the seamless, complimentary pickup from our guest house. The reef was in fantastic nick, with healthy corals and an incredible amount of marine life. We were lucky enough to spot everything from nudibranchs and eagle rays to whitetip reef sharks and turtles. We even had a few dolphins join the party! There was no shortage of the 'smaller' stuff either, like lionfish, scorpionfish, and octopus, clownfish etc. Our guide, Ceril, was absolutely superb. He had a keen eye for even the tiniest macro life while keeping a vigilant watch over the group. It felt very safe and personalized. The gear was in great condition, and at €145, we felt it was excellent value for money. They even kept us going with water and some properly delicious banana bread between dives. Highly recommended

When visiting Praslin we wanted to do some diving. We just walked up to the Diving Center and we arranged a dive for the next day. The lady at the counter was very vriendly. The next morning we arrived at a well organized, busteling centre where we were greeted by our divemaster. They got us set up with all the gear and soon we could go to our first divespot. Our gide was very good at spotting all the different fish and other wildlife. It was a calm and fun dive! Between dives was a short boatride. We got cold water and bananacake, delicious! The next dive site was even more beautiful than the first. Again our gide showed us many things. Best of all, some whitetip sharks! Overall we had an amazing morning and can recommend this dive center to anyone looking to dive at Praslin!

I had an amazing beginner level experience with Whitetip divers. They give you proper trainings before going into the ocean which were helpful and make you comfortable in the ocean. Trainers are highly skilled and teach you with patience. Enjoyed every bit of the Scuba Diving with them.

I had a fantastic experience doing my Open Water and Advanced Open Water SSSI courses at Whitetip Divers. A big thank you to Neddy and Daryl, who taught me the skills and knowledge necessary to become a safe and competent diver. They were both extremely patient with me, helping me to overcome difficulties with equalising and taking off the mask underwater. We went to 6 dive sites, all of which offered unique glimpses of sharks, rays, turtles, corals and beautiful tropical fish. This past week has opened my eyes to a new underwater world and I look forward to continuing my diving journey. I would highly recommend Whitetip Divers for new students and experienced divers alike. Also thank you to Baba for driving us to and from the hotel everyday! He very kindly shared his local knowledge and recommendations.

My sister and I both got our open water and advanced open water SSI certifications at Whitetip Divers over the course of our 11 day holiday. Although I was a bit apprehensive at first, I fell in love with the underwater world and found myself surrounded by coral reefs, sharks, turtles and sting rays. Our divemaster Neddy and his understudy Daryl were both very patient, knowledgeable and a good laugh. Neddy is so zen it rubs off on those around him and makes it hard to panic, even as an inexperienced diver I would highly recommend this dive centre to anyone thinking of getting a scuba license! The atmosphere of the diving centre itself is very inviting and relaxed. Special mention to Baba who drove us to and from our hotel everyday, bringing positive vibes every morning. I will definitely be coming back :)
