Masai Mara is home to the Big Five (elephants, lions, leopards, rhinos, and buffalo), zebras, antelopes, hyenas, giraffes, and African lions, including black-maned lions. Lake Nakuru's biggest attraction is its huge flamingo population, which can swell to more than 1.5 million. Lake Naivasha is a beautiful freshwater lake in Kenya just northwest of Nairobi.

Day 1: Arrive in Nairobi
On arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), your citizen guide will meet and transfer you to your hotel in Nairobi.
Today is a day to relax and prepare for the wild wilderness adventure safari to Masai Mara.
You'll have an optional visit to the Giraffe Center to get close to the rare Rothschild's giraffes, feed them, and even share a kiss with these exquisite creatures.

Day 2: Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve
You'll depart from Nairobi and journey toward the Masai Mara National Reserve.
Along the way, you'll pause at the Viewpoint of the Great Rift Valley, where the horizon stretches infinitely, inviting awe.
You'll arrive in Masai Mara in time for lunch, and as the sun dips low, check into your lodge.
You will embark on an afternoon game drive, seeking elusive cheetahs, majestic lions, and the enigmatic wild dogs.
You'll return to your lodge, play games, and have an evening bonfire. After an early dinner, you'll wrap up and retire for the day.

Day 3: Full-Day in Masai Mara National Reserve
You'll rise with the sun after a hearty breakfast, anticipation coursing through your veins, for an exhilarating morning game drive.
You'll witness the untamed drama of the savannah, where the Big Five—lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant, and rhino—roam freely against the backdrop of the skyline.
You'll explore the golden grasslands stretching before you like a canvas painted by the gods.
You'll witness the Great Migration—millions of wildebeest and zebras crossing the Mara River. This natural spectacle is awe-inspiring (August is the best time to witness it)
For an unforgettable experience, take a hot-air balloon ride over the Mara. You'll drift silently above the wildlife, capturing breathtaking views (optional)
You'll enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by the savannah’s symphony of sounds.

Day 4: Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru National Park
You'll bid farewell to Masai Mara, its red earth etched into your memory, and set forth toward Lake Nakuru National Park.
En route, you can admire the cerulean expanse of Lake Naivasha and the imposing silhouette of Mount Longonot.
At noon, you will arrive at Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort for check-in. After a leisurely lunch, you'll proceed to Lake Nakuru, where the pink hues of flamingos dance on the water’s surface.
You'll embark on a game drive in Lake Nakuru, where lions prowl, giraffes stretch their necks, and rhinos stand sentinel.
You'll visit Baboon Cliff, where the world unfolds beneath you—a mosaic of blue water, green forest, and distant hills.
You will explore Makalia Falls, the spray kissing your skin as you stand in awe of nature’s grandeur.
As the sun retreats, you'll drive back to your lodge before dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Lake Naivasha
Today, after breakfast, you'll glide across Lake Naivasha by boat, the air alive with the calls of birds—herons, kingfishers, and fishing eagles, passing by hippos basking along the shores.
You will step ashore on Crescent Island, where giraffes graze, zebras wander, and antelopes leap. You'll walk alongside these species for a memorable experience.
You'll return to the shores after a thrilling experience. You'll spend the rest of your day enjoying the amenities your lodge offers, or proceed for an optional tour of Hell's Gate NP, "A Walk on the Wild Side."

Day 6: Lake Naivasha to Nairobi
You'll bid farewell to this wild paradise and return to Nairobi, your heart brimming with memories of Africa’s untamed beauty.
You will dive into vibrant Maasai culture by shopping for colorful beadwork, fabrics, and handicrafts at the Maasai market.
After nightfall, Nairobi comes to life! Explore chic nightclubs, bars, and live music venues. You'll drink some locally brewed beer and have a wild dance with the locals.

Before transferring to the airport for your departure, you can spend the morning as you like.
