Day 1: Dar-es-salaam to Mikumi National Park (On arrival visit Maasai Boma Village)
Begin your journey with a morning pickup at 08:00 AM from your hotel in Dar es Salaam and set off on a scenic 5–6 hour drive to Mikumi National Park. This popular safari destination is known for its rich wildlife and easy accessibility, making it ideal for short Tanzania safari tours.
Upon arrival, head to a traditional Maasai village for an authentic cultural experience with the Maasai Tribe. Spend time exploring the village and learning about their unique way of life, including their traditional diet, clothing, music, and social structure. Engage with the community, observe daily activities, and gain a deeper understanding of one of Africa’s most iconic cultures.

Day 2: Morning game drive at Mikumi National Park - Later we drive back to Dar-essalaam
Start your day early at 6:30 AM for an exciting morning game drive in Mikumi National Park, the best time to spot a wide variety of wildlife in their natural habitat. Explore the park’s diverse landscapes as the day begins, offering excellent visibility and active animal movement.
One of the highlights of your safari is the famous Mkata Floodplain, known for its open grasslands and high concentration of wildlife. Here, you can easily spot elephants, buffalo, zebras, giraffes, wild dogs, impalas, and a wide range of bird species.
Enjoy a rewarding game drive lasting up to five hours, giving you plenty of time to observe and photograph Tanzania’s incredible wildlife. After the safari, return for breakfast before beginning your journey back to Dar es Salaam.
