Day 1: Nairobi – Masai Mara National Reserve

Masai Mara

You will be picked up from your hotel in Nairobi or the airport early in the morning by the Jossec Safaris team. After a short safari briefing at pick-up time, depart for the famous Great Rift Valley with a stop at the viewpoint to enjoy panoramic views and take photographs. Continue through Narok town to the iconic Maasai Mara National Reserve, arriving in time for lunch at Rhino Tourist Camp. After lunch and some relaxation, proceed for an afternoon game drive in the reserve aboard your 4x4 pop-up roof Land Cruiser. The Maasai Mara is home to an incredible variety of wildlife including lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and many more species. During the migration season, you may also witness the spectacular wildebeest migration crossing the Mara River. Return to the camp in the evening for dinner and overnight stay at Rhino Tourist Camp.

We visited Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha, and Amboseli. We were only two people, and everything was well organized from the beginning.
