Day 1: Arusha to Serengeti National Park
Your luxury safari begins with a warm welcome and morning pick-up in Arusha. After a short safari briefing, you will embark on a scenic drive through the picturesque landscapes of northern Tanzania, passing local villages, rolling hills, and the lush highlands before entering the legendary Serengeti. As the landscape opens into endless golden plains dotted with acacia trees and kopjes, the true magic of Africa begins to unfold.
Upon entering Serengeti National Park, you will enjoy a game drive end route to your luxury lodge or tented camp. The Serengeti is renowned for its rich ecosystem and abundant wildlife, offering chances to encounter elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, and large herds of zebras and wildebeest. The Serengeti is especially famous for the Great Migration, where millions of wildebeest and zebras move in search of fresh grazing (seasonal). Even outside migration season, the park supports an impressive concentration of resident wildlife. You may witness lions stalking prey, cheetahs sprinting across the plains, or hippos wallowing in rivers. Bird enthusiasts will also appreciate the variety of colorful and rare species found here.
Enjoy a picnic lunch in a scenic location surrounded by the sounds of nature, or return to camp for a hot lunch depending on your preference. In the afternoon, continue your game drive, exploring new areas and maximizing wildlife viewing opportunities. Day 3: Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
After an early breakfast, depart the Serengeti and journey toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Upon arrival, descend approximately 600 meters into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater, the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera. Often referred to as a natural wildlife sanctuary, the crater provides one of the highest densities of animals in Africa.
The crater floor is home to an extraordinary range of wildlife, including the endangered black rhino, large-tusked elephants, lions, hyenas, buffaloes, and numerous antelope species. Its permanent water sources support year-round wildlife activity, making game viewing exceptional in every season. You may also visit the soda lake, where flamingos and other birdlife create a stunning pink-hued spectacle.
