Day 1: Mabamba Swamp Birding Experience – Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
Your guide will pick you up early from your hotel in Entebbe or Kampala before driving to Mabamba Swamp, one of Uganda's finest birding sites located along the shores of Lake Victoria.
Board a traditional motorized canoe and glide through the papyrus channels while searching for the prehistoric-looking Shoebill Stork. Along the way, look out for numerous wetland birds, including African Jacanas, Malachite Kingfishers, Purple Herons, Papyrus Gonoleks, and African Fish Eagles.
After the birding excursion, begin the scenic drive southwest toward Queen Elizabeth National Park. Pass through rolling hills, traditional villages, tea plantations, and the beautiful landscapes of western Uganda.
Arrive at your lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Morning Game Drive & Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise
Wake up early for a morning game drive in the Kasenyi Plains, one of the best wildlife viewing areas in Uganda.

Warthogs
Waterbucks
Hyenas
Leopards (occasionally)
Return to the lodge for lunch before heading for the famous afternoon boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel.
The cruise offers exceptional wildlife viewing with large concentrations of hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, and numerous bird species along the shoreline.
