Day 1: Moshi/Arusha – Marangu Gate – Mandara Hut
After breakfast, depart from Moshi or Arusha and drive to Marangu Gate, where you will complete the park registration formalities before beginning your Kilimanjaro climb. The trek starts through the beautiful montane rainforest, where you may encounter different species of birds and monkeys while enjoying the cool, green surroundings. Continue along the forest trail at a steady pace with your professional mountain guide until you reach Mandara Hut.
After arriving at Mandara Hut, settle in and relax while your guide prepares for the evening. If time and energy allow, you may take a short walk toward Maundi Crater for spectacular views of the surrounding landscape. Dinner and overnight will be at Mandara Hut.

Day 2: Mandara Hut – Horombo Hut
After breakfast, continue your ascent toward Horombo Hut, leaving the rainforest behind as the vegetation changes into beautiful moorland. The trail passes through open landscapes with giant heathers and impressive views of Kibo and Mawenzi Peaks, depending on weather conditions.
Enjoy a picnic lunch along the trail before continuing toward Horombo Hut. Upon arrival, rest and take in the spectacular mountain scenery. Dinner and overnight will be at Horombo Hut.

Day 3: Horombo Hut – Kibo Hut – Uhuru Peak – Horombo Hut
Wake up early for the most challenging and rewarding stage of the climb. After breakfast, begin the ascent toward Kibo Hut, crossing the alpine desert known as the Saddle, which lies between Kibo and Mawenzi Peaks. After a short rest at Kibo Hut, prepare for the summit attempt.
The final ascent normally begins around midnight. Trek slowly through the darkness toward Gilman’s Point (5,681 m) and continue along the crater rim toward Uhuru Peak (5,895 m), the highest point in Africa. After celebrating your achievement and taking photographs, begin the descent to Kibo Hut and continue down to Horombo Hut for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Horombo Hut – Marangu Gate – Moshi/Arusha
After breakfast, begin your final descent from Horombo Hut toward Marangu Gate. Descend through the moorland and rainforest, enjoying the changing scenery as you make your way down the mountain. Upon reaching Marangu Gate, complete the park formalities and receive your summit certificate, depending on the official summit point you reached.
Your driver will meet you at the gate and transfer you back to Moshi or Arusha, where the unforgettable Kilimanjaro climbing adventure comes to an end.
