Day 1: Arrival in Uganda – Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Your 5 Days Gorilla Trekking and Lake Bunyonyi Safari begins with a pick-up from Entebbe International Airport or your hotel in Kampala. After a short briefing with your safari guide, you will start your journey southwest towards Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
The drive takes you through beautiful Ugandan landscapes, local villages, farms, and the scenic countryside. Along the way, you may enjoy optional stops at the Equator crossing for photos and refreshments.
Continue to Bwindi, arriving in the evening for dinner and overnight stay at your lodge.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Experience in Bwindi Forest
After an early breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters for a gorilla trekking briefing. Rangers will explain the trekking guidelines before you enter the ancient Bwindi rainforest.
The trek can take between 2–8 hours depending on the location of the gorilla family. Walking through the dense forest offers opportunities to see birds, butterflies, monkeys, and other forest species.
Once you find the gorillas, you will spend one magical hour observing them as they feed, play, and interact within their natural environment.
After the trek, return to your lodge for relaxation.

Day 3: Bwindi Forest – Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
After breakfast, enjoy a relaxed morning before transferring to the beautiful Lake Bunyonyi.
Lake Bunyonyi is famous for its stunning scenery, peaceful atmosphere, terraced hills, and beautiful islands. The lake is believed to be one of the deepest lakes in Africa and is an excellent place to relax after gorilla trekking.
In the afternoon, enjoy optional activities such as a canoe ride, bird watching, community walks, or visiting local villages.

Day 4: Explore Lake Bunyonyi – Cultural Experience
Spend the day exploring the hidden beauty of Lake Bunyonyi. You can enjoy a traditional canoe boat cruise across the lake while learning about the history and culture of the islands.
You may also visit local communities to experience the lifestyle of the Bakiga people, learn traditional practices, and enjoy the warm hospitality of local residents.
The peaceful environment makes Lake Bunyonyi the perfect destination for relaxation, photography, and nature lovers.

Day 5: Lake Bunyonyi – Return to Kampala/Entebbe
After breakfast, begin your journey back to Kampala or Entebbe International Airport.
Enjoy the final views of Uganda’s countryside as you travel through the rolling hills of southwestern Uganda. Depending on your flight schedule, you may stop at the Equator for souvenirs and photos before arriving in Entebbe.
