Day 1: Nairobi – Lake Naivasha Boat Safari – Crescent Island Walking Safari
Your adventure with Jossec Safaris begins with an early morning pickup from your Nairobi hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. After a short safari briefing, depart through the scenic Great Rift Valley with a stop at the viewpoint for spectacular photographs.
Arrive at Lake Naivasha in time for a relaxing boat safari across the freshwater lake. During the boat ride, watch hippos resting in the water while fish eagles soar overhead. The lake is also home to countless bird species including pelicans, cormorants, kingfishers and herons.
After the boat excursion, continue to Crescent Island Game Sanctuary for a guided walking safari. Unlike national parks, Crescent Island allows visitors to walk safely among free-roaming wildlife including giraffes, zebras, impalas, wildebeests and gazelles while enjoying breathtaking views of Lake Naivasha.
Following lunch, relax before continuing your journey toward the Masai Mara. Arrive in the evening for check-in and dinner.

Day 2: Masai Mara National Reserve – Relaxation Upon Arrival
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast overlooking the beautiful surroundings of the lodge. Today has been intentionally designed for relaxation after your journey.
Spend the afternoon enjoying the excellent facilities at Masai Mara Sopa Lodge. Guests may relax by the swimming pool, enjoy panoramic views from the lodge, or simply unwind while listening to the sounds of nature.
This relaxed afternoon prepares you for two exciting days of extensive wildlife viewing.

Day 3: Full-Day Game Drive in Masai Mara
After an early breakfast, depart with picnic lunch boxes for a full-day wildlife safari inside the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve.If travelling between July and October, you may also witness the spectacular Great Wildebeest Migration as thousands of animals cross from Tanzania into Kenya.
Your experienced safari guide will continually position the vehicle for the best wildlife viewing and photography opportunities.
Lunch will be served at a scenic picnic site inside the reserve before continuing the afternoon game drive.
Return to the lodge before sunset.

Day 4: Another Full-Day Safari in Masai Mara
Today offers another exciting opportunity to discover different sections of the Masai Mara ecosystem.
Since wildlife movements change daily, every game drive is unique. Your guide will track recent animal sightings to maximize your chances of seeing predators, large elephant herds and other remarkable wildlife.
Visit the Mara River, famous for its crocodiles, hippos and seasonal wildebeest crossings. Bird enthusiasts will also enjoy spotting numerous resident and migratory bird species.
Throughout the day there will be plenty of opportunities for photography and observing animals in their natural habitat.
Return to the lodge in the evening.

Day 5: Maasai Village Visit – Return to Nairobi
After breakfast, check out of the lodge.
Before departing the Masai Mara, enjoy an optional visit to a traditional Maasai Village, where you'll learn about the Maasai people's culture, traditions, homes, dances and way of life.
After the visit, begin the scenic drive back to Nairobi with lunch en route. Upon arrival, Jossec Safaris will drop you off at your hotel, residence or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, marking the end of a memorable Kenyan safari.
