Day 1: Marangu Gate – Mandara Hut
After breakfast, drive to Marangu Gate for registration and begin your trek through the lush tropical rainforest. The trail is surrounded by beautiful vegetation, with opportunities to see different bird species and monkeys. Continue at a comfortable pace to Mandara Hut for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Mandara Hut – Horombo Hut
After breakfast, leave the rainforest behind and continue through the moorland zone. The trail offers beautiful views of the surrounding landscape and, weather permitting, the peaks of Mawenzi and Kibo. Arrive at Horombo Hut in the afternoon and enjoy a well-deserved rest.

Day 3: Acclimatization Day at Horombo Hut
Today is dedicated to acclimatization. After breakfast, take a gradual hike toward the Mawenzi Ridge area, enjoying spectacular views of Mawenzi Peak and the surrounding alpine landscape. This additional day allows your body to adjust to the increasing altitude while giving you time to rest and prepare for the summit.
Return to Horombo Hut in the afternoon for lunch, relaxation and dinner.

Day 4: Horombo Hut – Kibo Hut
After breakfast, begin the trek across the famous Saddle between Mawenzi and Kibo peaks. The landscape gradually changes into alpine desert, with little vegetation and a vast, dramatic environment.
Continue slowly toward Kibo Hut, arriving in the afternoon. After dinner, rest early as you will wake around midnight for the summit attempt.

Day 5: Kibo Hut – Uhuru Peak – Horombo Hut
Wake up around midnight and begin the challenging summit ascent under the stars. Trek slowly toward Gilman's Point on the crater rim at approximately 5,685m. From there, continue along the crater rim toward Uhuru Peak (5,895m), the highest point in Africa.
After reaching the summit, celebrate your achievement and take photographs before beginning the descent to Kibo Hut. After a short rest, continue down to Horombo Hut for dinner and overnight.

Day 6: Horombo Hut – Marangu Gate – Arusha/Moshi
After breakfast, begin your final descent through the beautiful moorland and rainforest zones. Continue to Marangu Gate, where you will complete the necessary park procedures and receive your summit certificate.
Meet your vehicle at the gate and transfer to your hotel in Arusha or Moshi, where your Kilimanjaro adventure comes to an end.
