7-Day Costal Kenya Adventure Mombasa, Kilifi, & Diani

After breakfast, depart for a guided Mombasa city tour. Visit the historic Fort Jesus, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that tells the story of Mombasa’s Portuguese, Arab, and British past. Continue to Haller Park, a rehabilitated nature reserve where you will see giraffes, zebras, hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species along scenic nature trails. After the tour, return to the hotel for lunch, relaxation, and later dinner. Overnight at PrideInn Nyali.

After breakfast, check out and travel north towards Kilifi. En route, stop at the historic Vasco da Gama Pillar, one of the oldest European monuments in East Africa. Continue to explore the ancient Jumba la Mtwana Ruins, remnants of a 14th-century Swahili settlement set along the ocean. Proceed to Kilifi Bay Beach Resort for check-in and lunch. Spend the afternoon relaxing at the beach or pool. Dinner at the resort.

After breakfast, head out to explore Mida Creek, a beautiful tidal inlet famous for its mangrove forests, birdlife, and wooden boardwalks offering breathtaking views. Continue to Mambrui, known for its unique sand dunes, fishing culture, and coastal charm. Return to the resort for lunch, leisure time, and later dinner.

Enjoy breakfast before checking out and returning to Mombasa. Upon arrival, explore Old Town, walking through narrow streets lined with Swahili architecture, antique shops, mosques, and cultural landmarks. Learn about the region’s rich heritage and way of life. Later, enjoy leisure time at Mamangina Waterfront, perfect for relaxing, photography, or enjoying coastal cuisine. Check in at PrideInn Nyali for lunch and dinner.

After breakfast, check out and travel to the South Coast. En route, visit Shimba Hills National Reserve, a lush coastal forest reserve offering scenic views, waterfalls, and wildlife such as elephants, antelopes, and diverse bird species. Continue to Diani Sea Lodge for check-in and lunch. Spend the afternoon relaxing on the white sandy beaches of Diani Beach or enjoying the resort facilities.

After breakfast, enjoy a relaxed morning at leisure, with optional beach walks or last-minute relaxation. After check-out, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure.
